MEET THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Mrs. Jeana Womble is an award-winning women's barbershop chorus director of over 10 years. Her chorus, Bella Voce (formerly Yampa Valley Chorus), qualified to compete in Kentucky at the international level in November 2023 and WON regional competition this spring, April 2024. They will return to international competition again in 2025, this time in Columbus, OH. She also loves performing with her quartet, Passionately Plaid, and small group ensemble, Sundry Downs.

Jeana was born and raised in Glendale, AZ, and loved participating in choir, drama, and band. She met her husband at BYU in the trombone section of the marching band and graduated with a BS in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership. Now living in Craig, CO since 2007 she is the mother of 5 amazing children and strongly believes in creating high-quality vocal and performing opportunities for rural NW Colorado.

YAMPITHEATER MISSION AND GOALS

We are working to provide the Yampa Valley with a space for community theater, vocal performance and other musical classes, and other performing arts events. It is also our mission to offer year-around theatrically-themed free play for children and youth.

The Yampitheater Playhouse is a 509(a)2 non-profit entity with a Board of Directors to oversee activities and ensure the mission and goals of the Yampitheater are being met.
